Thank you, kela and Fogwolf. It really is very hard to pin down the stimulus...
I'm a tad inclined to think the emotion is more likely to be the stimulus because the physical feeling of the free fall is also there in other rollercoasters - and there it feels more greyish/purplish/foggy.
The only thing that still keeps me from being sure it's really emotion syn is that I'm also wondering if it could be non-syn - you see, on the ride, you're inside an, I guess, about 65m high tower and get "shot" upwards in your seat and then you fall. The thing is, when you're right beneath the roof, there's some blueish kind of orb in the ceiling (those where there're "lightnings" inside and when you touch it, there's a lightning to the point where your finger is). It doesn't really fit the shade I feel and it's way too sharp for my image, and I have my eyes closed pretty much all the while, but I still feel this might have corrupted my response somehow. Hm. |

Thanks
Could I please have a grapheme one as well. Unless numbers don't count as graphemes... |

Yep, grapheme syn is a kind of sight syn - and numbers do count as graphemes (it's letters, numbers, and I think punctuation marks as well? not sure on the punctuation marks). |

Hi Marian,
Since the original nexus is up and running again, we don't need this site anymore. I kept this one subforum open as a formality, but there is no activity at the New Nexus any longer. I'll probably come lock this subforum in a few days too.
I could put those syntypes up for you if you really wanted, but it's really not necessary since this forum isn't used anymore. (Of course, if the unthinkable happens and we need this place again, I'll reopen it, but hopefully we won't.)
Either way, I've seen you at the original site, so at least I know you've already found your way there. See you there. |
